Dr Nicolaas Louw

Nic graduated from Pretoria university in South Africa in 1981. Since then he has enjoyed working as a General Family Practioner both here and in South Africa.
Nic is part of the implant restorative team for TDC Implant Centres who provide Smile-in-a-Day using the All-on-Four technique at our Folkestone practice (as well as Peterborough and Harley Street)
He most enjoys enhancing smiles through cosmetic dentistry, adult orthodontics and the planning and restoration of implants.
Dr Bilal Afzal

Qualifications: BDS Punjab 2003
Bilal (BDS Punjab 2003) joined Total Dentalcare in January 2012 as a full time associate dentist having undertaken five years of postgraduate training in multiple institutions across the UK in the field of Oral and Maxillofacial surgery. He is currently undertaking further postgraduate training in Restorative Dentistry and has a keen interest in Cosmetic and Conservative Dentistry.
Bilal is enthusiastic about maintaining the highest standards of providing dentistry to all patients throughout the practice and especially the issue of providing concerned care to all patients. He takes a particular interest in saving teeth instead of extracting them and really enjoys winning the trust of nervous patients - who often come back to the dentist smiling and relaxed.
Away from dentistry Bilal is an active member of a photography club in Maidstone and is a member of cricket and squash leagues.
Dr Khurram Baber
Qulifications: BDS Peshawar 2004
Dr Khurram Babar has been working with Total Dentalcare since September 2011. He graduated from Khyber College of Dentistry in 2004 from Peshawar (PAK). He came to England in 2006 for post graduation studies.
Khurram then worked in a number of Oral and Maxillofacial units across the UK for 3 years. He passed his membership exam for the Royal College of Surgeons of England in 2008. Khurram completed his vocational training equivalency in Leicester and before moving to Folkestone, worked as an associate dentist in London.
Khurram is currently enrolled in Surgical and Prostodontic Implantology at Eastman Dental Institute and his area of interest is oral surgery.
Dr Adil Khalil
Qualifications: BDS Baqai 2004
Adil graduated from Baqai Medical University, Pakistan in 2004, he graduated in 1st position in his University. After one year Dental House officer training and a short spell in a private practice, he moved to the UK. Here he embarked on the Master's training at the prestigious Barts and the London, Queen Mary's University.
After successfully completing his 2-year full time MClinDent course in Periodontology, he was offered a one year course in Implantology and further training in the field of periodontology for a third complimentary year at the same university. Over these years of clinical training Adil has managed to develop a large portfolio of interesting and complicated periodontal and implant cases.
Adil has also worked as clinical supervisor (periodontology) of the 2nd, 3rd and 4th year undergraduate dental students at the Barts and the London from September 2007 to May 2009 and has also worked as clinical supervisor at Kings College London.
Dr Sarah Shah

Qualifications: BDS Lahore 2006
Sarah holds a BDS (Pakistan) and has extensive experience in a private cosmetic dental practice. After moving to the UK and getting her license to practice, she completed her vocational training in Birmingham, becoming proficient in the NHS system.
Sarah is particularly interested in re-constructive treatment and cosmetic dentistry where she has attended numerous courses on cosmetic fillings and tooth whitening.
Being a mum of two, Sarah is particularly adapt at treating children and nervous patients.
